Generally, after binding the aircraft to the remote, move both left and right control sticks to the bottom-outer corners (or bottom-inner depending on the model) simultaneously. Hold this position until the motors start rotating, then release the sticks immediately.
A yellow GPS icon indicates that the GPS signal is weak or unhealthy. In this state, the aircraft cannot perform autonomous positioning functions like Loiter mode and will default to Altitude Hold (AltHold) mode.
First, power on the remote controller. Then, power on the aircraft and place it on a level surface. Wait for the aircraft status indicator to switch from fast flashing yellow to slow flashing green, which indicates a successful connection.
Throwing Mode allows you to launch the drone by hand. After GPS positioning is locked, hold the aircraft from the bottom and point the nose vertically downward for 2-3 seconds until you hear a prompt tone. Toss the aircraft gently upwards or forwards; the motors will unlock, and it will automatically hover.
